About Guadalupe County Criminal History

Guadalupe County criminal records are divided among the Sheriff's Office, local court clerks, the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. We created this private reference site to make that split easier to understand and to direct readers toward the official portal, mailing address, counter, or telephone number that fits the record they need.

Why We Built This Site

Access to criminal-record information in Texas depends on both the record and its custodian. The Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office maintains its agency reports and jail booking material. The District Clerk keeps felony case papers, while the County Clerk handles Class A and B misdemeanor files. Statewide criminal-history information runs through the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division, and prison custody information belongs to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. The Texas Public Sex Offender Registry is another distinct system. This site organizes the verified contacts, official search routes, request instructions, and published fee details for those separate sources.

What You Will Find Here

  • Agency contacts: verified routes to Guadalupe County record custodians and Texas criminal-history systems
  • Record guides: ways to search and understand criminal court case records filed in Guadalupe County
  • Record-clearing information: the difference between Texas expunction and an order of nondisclosure, plus the local filing office
  • Official check instructions: how Texas DPS name searches and FAST fingerprint-based personal reviews serve different purposes

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, with no affiliation to a Texas court, law-enforcement office, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:

  • We cannot issue a certified court paper, criminal-history record, or official copy
  • We cannot submit a Texas expunction petition, nondisclosure request, or public-information request for a visitor
  • We cannot interpret a charge, warrant, or case outcome as legal advice
  • We cannot retrieve a record or perform an official background check for anyone
  • We cannot promise that an agency's address, hours, fee, or telephone number has not changed

An official record must come from its custodian, such as a Guadalupe County clerk, the Sheriff's Office, or the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Search Partners

Outside providers power search boxes found on some pages. Each provider controls its service, result set, and price. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral payment that supports free access to this site. We do not set a partner's charges or decide which information appears in its results.
